The International Congress Centres of Thessaloniki “Ioannis Vellidis” and “Nikolaos Germanos” belong to HELEXPO S.A., which, with its 80 years of experience in organizing and supporting fairs, exhibitions, conferences and various other evens, is the leader of the Hellenic Market of Exhibition and Conference Industry.

HELEXPO International Congress Centers are located in the heart of the city and comprise unique convention venues combining comfort flexibility and adaptability. They are easily accessed from every part of the city, situated: 15 klm from Macedonia Airport, 3klm from the Railroad Station, 2 klm from the port, with parking facilities, HELEXPO International Congress Centers comprise an integrated solution for congresses, professional, social, political and cultural events.

The International Congress Centres of HELEXPO can host 3,500 persons in a venue extending to totally 4,300 square meters having the capabilities of parallel exhibitions. The capacity of the largest hall is 2,100 persons, in amphitheatre configuration.
 
The Congress Centre “Ioannis Vellidis”, on the major conference centres in the Balkans, is characterized by functionality and comfort, since its halls can be configured and adjusted accordingly so as to satisfy entirely all requirements of its customers. It has six fully equipped halls: Thessaloniki and Alexandros, with 500 seats each, Ellopia, with 800 seats, Kassandros and Filippos, with 150 each and Olympias, with 150 seats. When fully deployed, the three first halls can cost 2,100 seats in amphitheatre configuration. The Centre’s roof garden can host a reception for 1,000 persons.
 
The Congress Centre “Nikolaos Germanos” is a special conference venue of total capacity of 720 persons; it has four halls, the amphitheatric “A” and “B”, with 400 and 100 seats respectively, hall “C” with 120 seats and hall “D”, with 60 seats.

Both Congress Centres provide fully fledged services for the integrated and perfected organization of conferences and other halls, by providing: press offices, business centre, offices for organizers and speakers and areas to host VIP guests.

The experienced and specialized personnel of HELEXPO in cooperation with selected providers of the most modern technical of audiovisual equipment and the most demanding catering services offer high level conference services.
 
HELEXPO also has a special hall, “CORONA”, at the centre of its facilities at Thessaloniki, which is independent and suitable for any kind of corporate or social event. Its capacity is 300 persons seated in amphitheatric configuration. Also the hall “E1” at the HELEXPO PALACE Exhibition Centre in Athens has capacity of 400 seats in amphitheatric configuration.
