A very productive and interactive virtual discussion took place  between HAPCO & DES Board & Members. Members of the BoD briefly presented the activities of the Association from the beginning of the pandemic until today. Extensive reference was made to the governmental health guidelines which prevent the smooth restart for the MICE sector. Actions of strengthening and promoting the industry were also presented, along with the intensive efforts of the members of the Board of HAPCO & DES to highlight the role of the MICE industry in the recovery and growth of the economy. The Members were also informed about the study submitted by the national Association to the Ministry of Tourism, in regards to the development and planning of the MICE industry.

Collaboration among all stakeholders and state support is the only way forward towards the dynamic restart of the country’s Meetings Industry.
