AFEA team ready to host an impressive lineup of meetings this summer.
AFEA is all set to host an impressive lineup of conferences and meetings this summer. These events aim to bring together industry professionals, researchers, leaders, and enthusiasts to share knowledge, network, and explore the latest trends shaping various sectors.
The first event on the agenda was the EAFE Conference 2023 that took place in Athens from 30 May to 1 June. It was the first in-person meeting that the organization committee managed to put together after the pandemic. There was a great mix of attendees that took part in, ranging from fisheries economists to people outside the discipline, such as biologists and sociologists.
AFEA is also supporting the 17th International SPHERIC Workshop on the historical island of Rhodes, bringing together state-of-the-art developments from academia and novel interdisciplinary applications.
Next stops in the history of PAGE Events, supported by AFEA, will be Spain, in June 2023 and Italy, in June 2024. PAGE Events attract more than 800 participants, top researchers, esteemed members of the academic society, key opinion leaders in the field of pharmaceutical research and development from around the globe.
As part of its commitment to science, AFEA is supporting the International Conference on Statistical Physics (ΣΦ) 2023 that will be held in Crete from July 10-14, covering Foundations and Theoretical aspects of ΣΦ (Statistical Physics) and Applications to Physical and non-Physical Systems, by offering a wide range of PCO services for the organization and implementation of the meeting.
AFEA maintains its engagement to educational projects proven by the company’s pivotal role in the organization process of some important, state-of-the-art focused meetings, such as the 3rd round of C.LA.S.S Courses of 2023, which is a series of free courses that are organized by the NODE Institute Simulation Center , with the aim to provide lifelong learning and continued easy-access training in advanced applications and cutting-edge methodologies.
AFEA was the official local PCO for the support of the Annual Worldwide Trade Show, the World of Coffee, organized at the Metropolitan Exhibition Center in Athens. This event showcased the latest trends in the coffee industry, innovative products, equipment, and brewing techniques, and provided networking opportunities for industry experts and like-minded professionals.
Additionally, the upscale FORTE Summer school will be supported once again by AFEA from 24 to 28 July 2023. This is a must-attend course for all trainees and young surgeons in Europe and most importantly for those that want to advance their knowledge or prepare for their National Exams or the EBOT Exam, while trained by the most renowned experts in Orthopaedics and Traumatology and exchange ideas with surgeons and trainees from all over Europe.
