The 6th Congress of the Hellenic Society of Infertility & Sterility was successfully and safely organized in Makedonia Palace hotel, in Thessaloniki by Erasmus Conferences & Events S.A.. The congress combined physical presence of a limited number of attendees with live, on-line transmision. For the very first time in the history of congresses, was the almost emplty meeting hall a “positive” point.
It was an “emotional” trip for the team of Erasmus to Thessaloniki, to support the organization and welcome the very few participants who were also very excited to meet again in person after so many months. New habits and safety first: all COVID-19 related protocolls were strictly followed by the staff of Erasmus, the hotel staff and participants alike.
Scientifically the Congress included an exceptionally high level of presentations and covered a wide spectrum of topics, a hands-on hysteroscopy seminar and a very special presentation / history of the 30-year old ICSI method, presented by its initiators, Profs. Andre Van Steirteghem και Paul Devroey who honored the congress with their presence.
