Early lockdown was proven to be the appropriate policy to limit the spread of COVID-19. Greece was a success story in containing spread. The country underwent a winter of long lockdowns, that a strict non-essential movement ban was implemented, along with an agenda of strict measures and nightly curfew. Now restrictions on movement are lifted and so are most lockdown measures, though not all of them. Most attractions are open and outdoor dining is an option indeed, but expect (understandably) less of a party scene than in the past, since people have to stay seated at restaurants. Given the fact that vaccinations are being rolled out and the confirmed cases and numbers are getting lower day by day, Greece is going to further ease a few more restrictions.

Horizon is the first DMC that operated an amazing program on Mykonos after the repeated lockdowns – measures and so much more! Our incredible French team ‘cut the cord’ with the first incentive group for 2021 that arrived in Mykonos last weekend. Their first night of course was in an exciting Mykonian way – a night out at Scorpios! One of the most premium and exclusive locations to go to….. With a beach to tan, a restaurant to try amazing dishes and a house to rest, Scorpios embraces both simplicity and luxury.

They also visited the island of the winds, Mykonos, via helicopter in a sightseeing flight. Our clients had the opportunity to fly over Mykonos and the majestic views of the Aegean Sea, and experience the island the most exciting way. Afterwards, they onboarded on jeeps and moved to the famous Armenistis lighthouse, where a small surprise was there for them…

Yes, a professional saxophonist! Our musician welcomed them to the sounds of Greece with her saxophone and had a great time with the guests, who they later headed to enjoy their lunch by the beach.

And at last, the famous Greek emerald waters! You’ve seen their photos, peacock blue-green hues and golden sand and smooth pebbles… So, why hold on? Let’s start the water games!
