On 19-20 November 2021, the 42nd Informative Two-Day Pediatric Conference was held in Thessaloniki, along with the 3rd Nursers’ Day of the First Pediatric Hospital of AUTH, the Ippokrateio General Hospital as well as the Pediatric Society of Northern Greece. The two-day event was organized by CONVIN, and it took place in a hybrid mode, i.e. either online or by physical presence of those who had a vaccination or disease certificate, at Thessaloniki Concert Hall.
The “thank you” notes by the organizers and the smiling participants along with the event’s facts and figures, as shown in the infographic, allow us to view with optimism the gradual return to the wonderful world of face-to-face meetings. At the same time they have proven that a PCO’s flexibility combined with organizational skills, professionalism, commitment and positive thinking by the team guarantee a successful event.
Against all odds and despite the pandemic, Greece proved through the exceptional organization of the 3rd World Company Sport Games that it can succeed even under the hardest circumstances. In this international Sports Festival, 3.500 athletes traveled to Athens and sent messages of peace, friendship and life-long physical exercise to all over the world.
