Early lockdown was proven to be the appropriate policy to limit the spread of COVID-19. Greece was a success story in containing spread. The country underwent a winter of long lockdowns, that a strict non-essential movement ban was implemented, along with an agenda of strict measures and nightly curfew. Now restrictions on movement are lifted and so are most lockdown measures, though not all of them.
